http://www.crutchfield.com
http://www.sonicelectronix.com most of their stuff is unauthorized
http://www.woofersetc.com similar to sonic, usually a bit better customer service then sonic.

Of the three I just listed Crutchfield is the best. But if you don't really care about a factory warranty any of the three are good.

Can someone tell me what is the advtange of going with crutchfield and the factory warranty they offer over one of the other two sites? Those sites offer a one year warranty as well as extended warranty. I know that cruthchfield also offers those same extended warranty packages, but what's the difference?

the reason crutchfield.com is better than others maybe not the three listed is other shop tend to get you shady deals. like the one i noticed it was a referbed product bought from some were like hifisoundconnection.com. which is similar to sonic and woofers they sold it to a smaller shop. the smaller shop sold it as "nib" and made more money off it then what they paid so buyer beware.

Everything you buy from Crutchfield has a factory warranty. A select few brands from woofers and sonic are authorized and come with a factory warranty, other than that it has just the store warranty.

you can have it repaired by the manufacturer, they just won't cover it, you'll have to pay for it, or like sonic, they have a 1-yr etc...

so if its factory warranty the company will take it in and fix it. And if its store warranty the store will fix it?
