There are a couple of other versions of this floating around, but I tweaked it for my preference. Enjoy:

.xlsx is for Office 2007. He needs to save it down to .xls.

Install the Office 2007 File Converter for 2003 and XP. Takes about three seconds to do over a cable modem. :-)

EKK... Office 2007. I prefer OpenOffice with the Microsoft Office Compatability Pack. By the way thanks for the 701 sheet.

dude, i made that sheet from the one you gave me.

i preferred it b/c it's easier to write the number than to have three different color pens and try and color boxes on a grid.

I like that sheet dude! It is easier to write down and read. I do like the old sheets tho cause I use them as a poor mans RTA. Do the filtered pink noise thing with the ole SPL meter and mark down the values and itll give you a rough approximation of what youre RTA curve looks like.

If you want a project, you could make up an RTA sheet like that on Excel for all us morons that dont know how to do anything on a computer except download porn. \:D

what are you wanting, just a sheet with the RTA bands like the old one, but something that'll print cleaner? How many full graphs do you want on a page?

That should be quite easy to do. Just highlight the both the bands and the boost/cut and tell excel to graph it; you choose the axes.

I just had my CAD guy draw up something for me and print it on 24x30" paper. Much easier to work with as far a graphing it goes.

That is the implication, 'dur'. Google Elmer Fudd there computer boy. That is a quote from one of his cartoons where he was a conducter. It fits the theme here.

Just something like an RTA graph that I can mark the level on. Play a filtered pink noise track, take the DB with my trusty SPL meter then mark it down so I can get a halfway decent guess as to what my curve looks like. The level could go from 70-106 db since that is the usual range mine comes out to but my make shift graphs go in 2 db increments and 1 db increments would be best.

Here you go. Page 1 is the 701 sheet. Page 2 is your graph. Print it out in landscape, it takes up a full page.

tabs in bottom left. The one you're on is titled '701 sheet'. The one you want is 'RTA Graph'.

Curious how you guys are using this though. Seems to me that it wouldn't really do much good unless you could somehow overlay the car's response, too. Or, are you just wanting to see what response you have to creat to get a flat system response? \:confused\:

Not sure what youre talking about. If youre asking why I would use an RTA graph, its because I cant afford a $1500 RTA. So I take SPL readings with my SPL meter using the 1/3 octave filtered pink noise track on the IASCA set up disc and plot their level on the graph. After you plot all 31 bands, you get a rough approximation of what your response curve is and it will show you dips and peaks. Then Ill take this graph and work with those frequencies while listening to music to hear what if any effect they have.

Got it to work. Thats exactly what I was wanting. Itll work like a charm!

Thanks Johna....Jonot....JD. \:D
