I recently purchased 2 12" Kicker Subwoofers and 1 Boss Audio Amp. Iam new to the subwoofer deal and wanted to know if the set above was alright. Here are the Specs:

2 12" 300w 4-ohm subwoofer

300w x 2 mosfet bridgeable power amplifier with remote subwoofer level control

Any help would be appreciated!

That amp is very overrated - what boss model and I'll tell you what you can expect from it.

Kicker makes good subs. Boss makes poor amplifiers. Try to get a Kicker amp when you have the funds - used amps can save you coin.

yea, expect around 100W per channel on that Boss amp. Totally ignore any max power rating. only look at RMS power ratings.

the problem you're going to have is that you have two 4 ohm subs that can be ran in parallel for 2 ohm mono load. no 2 channel amp in your price range will give you the power you need in 4 ohm stereo.

look for a Class D mono amp that is 2 ohm stable.

The Vibe amps are about as bad as the Boss amps and I think they are even made by the same company...

Boss amplifiers are not that bad.... as I can see He doesn't want a lot of bass in his car and those subs aren't that much powerfull... I have been running a Boss 4ch amp for my speakers and It has been running them for about 4-5 years and no rpoblem with the amp.... Its not the best buttt.... when your wallet can't afford something else they are the best jajaja
