Here is my setup. 2008 Honda CRV Eclipse AVN 6620 GPS deck Diamond Audio S600s comp for the front Stock rear RF P450.4 bridged about 220wRMS x2 @4ohm
Here is the story. I bought the Eclipse 6620 along with the BT kit. I just installed the amp and speakers yesterday and now my BT kit won't work. The way the BT kit is designed is I need to use the speaker wires from the deck and since I installed an amp, I bypassed those wires with the RCA to the amp.
I am going to return that amp and just use the stock amp from the Eclipse 6620 to power the speakers. I haven't tried powering the Diamond Audio speakers with the deck alone yet, but I don't think it will sound that great. The deck is rated about 25wRMS and the Diamond Audio speakers are rated about 150wRMS.
I am thinking about getting something with a little bit lower wattage. The car take a 6.5" speaker. It seems like I will get a coaxial speaker setup because they are usually lower power.
Any ideas? My budget is about $100 to $150 but willing to spend up to $200 if they are really worth it. Remember I am going to power this with the Eclipse 6620's internal amp.

don't buy a crappier speaker (coaxial) and expect it to sound better than a nicer speaker (component). the components will sound better than a coaxial - regardless of the power given to them. coaxial speakers are usually lower power because the drivers are lower quality (especially the tweeters).
"great" is a relative term. i've never been happy with any speaker powered from a head unit. coaxial doesn't impress me either. personally, i'd rather drive in silence. sacrificing good sound for BT isn't a wise move in my book. instead, do what another member on here is doing - add a smaller pair of speakers for BT only. that way you get the best sound possible AND functional BT.
it depends on what is more important to you - talking on the phone while driving or listening to a quality sound system.

The problem with adding another speaker for bt is that the speaker will always be on even if I am not using the bt.
I will try that put to see how bad the sound image will be. I don't know if it is just me but poor image is more annoying then a little distortion.
If I was the only one driving that car I wouldn't care about the bt but my wife drives it as well and she needs the bt for work. Sorry bt ear piece don't work for her.

use a relay to control the speakers so they are only on when you want to use BT - maybe the HU has an output for that.
both are annoying.
we were looking for some 2" full range speakers (Parts Express) to locate in factory tweeter locations. then place the component tweeters in better locations.

If I remember the Parrot BT kits right, they take speaker leads in, mute the rears and switch the fronts to their own output during a phone call. If this is correct, then just wire something up to the front outputs of the Parrot. I think there is even an output you can use to drive a relay to break the turn-on lead for your amp, giving you a system mute.

The problem is not with the amp turning off or muting when the bt kicks in because it does mutes the amp when it kicks in.
The problem is getting sound from the phone to play when the bt kicks in.

the relay circuit on the Parrot kits can only handle 25 watts. be careful how you use them.
Take the main harness apart.
red - speaker + White - speaker - yellow - 12v relay black - neg
