Hey im new to sounds, dont have any set up just learning the stuff. Is it possible to bridge a 4 channel on an amp to a single sub which is dual voice coil, how will my connection be?????

Also my amp is alpine mrv-f705 i think and my sub is jbl 1202d, dual voice coil. mY gain so far is 3/4 already. Inside the car the sound is satisfying but outside, very weak!!!! is there a way to improve

that is a dual 2 ohm sub. you cannot bridge the amp to each coil.

instead, bridge two of the channels and wire the sub for 4 ohm mono (wire the 2 ohm coils in series).

use the other two channels for speakers.

you don't have enough gear or power to show off outside the car. if you want other people to think you're loud then build a wall.

thanks, well im actually using an 800watt/channel amp for the sub now. so i wired my sub in a series as u said louder than b4 in terms of bass and quality. as for the wall whats wall???????????/what u mean

ha, i meant build a wall in the back of the vehicle and fill it with subs. being loud outside takes a large investment in both speakers and power.
