Adding a batcap 2000 as 2nd batt along with red Top as main.

The batcap.net diagrams confuse me.

Can I not ground the batcap to the chassis? I have to go direct to main batt or amp?

I mean how can one fit two 0 gauge ground wires into the amp?

Also what about power? Can't I go from main bat to batcap to amp?

I would think I could just do the following:

Power from main bat to batcap (fused near batcap) to amp (fused again).

For ground, can't I ground the amp and batcap at a common ground point on the chasis?

is there any way to get me a pic of the wiring diagram for this one. for one some caps are wired in series some in parallel if done incorrect it could explode just like a regular cap can. if not get it done by a pro.

depending on the gauge you want to use you could use one of these or two reg distribution blocks with the out puts you need

http://www.stingerelectronics.com/productDetails.aspx?delineate=428&CategoryID=-1&ParentID=-1

from the distribution block above
if running one amp run one power to amp and one to cap from the output's same with the negative. then frame ground the input side for ground then just run the power wire to the input side like on the ok would save you money. also i would fuses it at least 18 inches from the bat cap it self or less.

Thanks Ralph. I already have a 3in1 power distro block. Can I just wire 0 gauge to batcap and then from batcap go into my power distro block? I know it will provide power to all 3 amps now, but then I don't have to spend more money.

Then do the same for ground. Just wire batcap ground into distro block where all 3 amps are also grounded?

could on the top info but you would need some sort of ground and every lead that came off that batt cap would have to have a fused link in it what you could do is get a dual input distro block but you need two of those and a couple small section of 0 gauge and terminals and such b back in a minute with the distro block

see you would need two of these don't know if you got it already any ways wire the cap to one input positive and negative and ground the ground to frame for the input and run bat wire to the postive one for the input and run amps off the other terminals the other 6total 3 postive 3 negtive any ways here is the parts

http://www.stingerelectronics.com/productDetails.aspx?delineate=163&CategoryID=-1&ParentID=-1

but still fuse the positive terminal no matter what on bat type caps like i said

these are 7 bucks each and can be fused to work with anl fuses any ways for 14 bucks and some anls along with some o gauge wire

Take the battcap back and spend the money on a new alternator
