Im looking into putting a sub in a 08 tahoe and I am planning on using an AudioControl LC6i for price reasons but did some research and found that some hU's have undefeatable eq's. Does anybody know if a Tahoe has one? Im trying to go the cheaper route if I can and not get a JL Cleansweep.

I would call JL Audio. I believe they keep a list.

depends on the audio system from factory. The worst I have run into is nondefeatable xover points. but that is remedied with the lc6i. Honestly I've tried the AC stuff, the Memphis stuff, and the RF peices in those trucks and they all sounded the same in the end so we started using the the AC primarily. But can I ask why not just change the radio?

If it's Bose, the amp's outputs will be EQ'd; and a CleanSweep or similar is indicated.
The feed to the stock amp is flat, BUT it is fixed level (you'll need an external volume knob).
