Of those two, I would go with the Alpine set. I like the Infinity sets too, but you listed the REF series. If I went with Infinity, I would go with the Kappa series.
The Alpine set is rated 75W rms, so pick the Kicker amp that can give you at least 75W rms X 4.

I have owned both those sets and was not happy with the quality. Focal and CDT make some excellent sounding comps in the same price range.

i'd go focal over CDT.
i've heard the alpines you linked, and was surprised. they weren't amped, and were just thrown in, and sounded a lot better than i expected.
you can also get mb quart qsd comps off ebay for about $220 shipped. if you can afford that much, go for them. they are really nice sounding.
