Hey everyone, I'm getting ready to set up all my stuff in my new car. My question is, When running the power wire from the battery to the alternator, should I fuse it closer to the battery or closer to the alternator? The battery is located in the trunk in these cars, so I'm a little confused.

make sure that's not also your start wire before you fuse it.

^ yea, the starter pulls hundreds of amps while it's turning the crank. course, that's a small car so it will be different than a V8. regardless, don't fuse that wire - it has a fusible link.
