Hey sounddomain, i am finally looking forward to getting rid of the crappy cheap pioneer speakers i have in the stock speaker places and replacing them. i was going to get a pair of Pioneer Premier TS-C720PRS fiberglassed into the front doors, or put into kick panels at my feet havent decided probolly put in the doors. i am going to take out the like 4inch speakers in the back deck and sound proof em and let them just be used as ports for the bass. i am going to put pioneer Premier TS-D901P ( 6x9's) in the back doors. i am wondering if this hifonics amp would be a good choice to use for em. its 4 channels and is the Hifonics TXi 6406? Would this would well. anyhelp would be greeaat and thanks a lot!
also would that sound ok in terms of sound imaging having the component set up front in the doors and 6x9s in the back doors?
WOW i just realized i did not tell you the car lol its a 1988 300e mercedes benz

I wouldn't use rear speakers at all if you are concerned with soundstage.
Other than that what you have planned is fine as long as you do the install correctly.
