I'm looking for a 5-channel amp because I don't want to take up a lot of room in my Cobalt. I'm wanting to have at least 75w to the speakers and at least 300w to the sub (RMS that is). Please help!

memphis, kicker, infinity, alpine, just to name a few, all make 5 channel amps that are pretty popular. do some searching and see what meets your needs and fits your budget.

You didn't mention budget so here's my recommendation.

Zapco Reference 650.6

You can get all the details on it at the Zapco web site. You can also find your closest dealer.

IamMurph is selling a very nice Kicker Impulse 5 channel amp. I might be too late but ask anyway.

Hifonics Zues ZXi8008. 55x4 + 200x1 @4ohm and 110x4 + 300x1 @2ohm. Not sure if it's quite enough power for you, but it can be had new for $225.

I agree with the Aphrodite but, honestly... when was the last time you saw the 1988-92 VII or VIII Aphrodite for sale?

A HiFonics Z8000 will do the job and can be had at one heck of a deal. It also has more power (55 x 4 +200 x1 into 4 ohms) versus the 50 x 6 or (160x3) that the Aph does.
