i recently got the iva-w505 installed with the imprint ktx-h100 and not so sure if I am going to keep the setup because I'm not satisfied with the sound. I used the software to automate the sound, but was not completely satsified with the result; clean and clear highs but no bass response as the sub sounds weak and spongy. Also, the crossovers they chose make my fronts distort. So I decided to just tune it manually, but no matter what i do the bass sounds like [censored]. I have subs up all the way up on the head unit, equalizers high on lower frequencies and still not good bass. Don't get me wrong, i like bass but Im no bass head or anything, jsyt want to even out the sound. My other pioneer unit i had no problems getting great sound quality and my jl 10w6 on the jl 500/1 hit really nice before. I also have polk sr6500 components in the front powered by alpine pdx. What am i doing wrong? it is to the point that i might just put back the pioneer cuz it sounds like [censored]. I dont want to mess with the sub amp but i guesss i could mess with the prior settings.......any suggestions would be greatly appreciated? anyone else have problems with alpine headunit....was my first
