Is the 4 channel amp secured to the floor and is the battery also secured?

good god! don't mix wire colors for power and ground - that's a sure fire way to blow up a battery in your face. and don't route them against things that get hot... like a radiator cap. if you wrap them in tech flex or something similar that is properly color coded and protected from heat then you'll be much, much better off.

the battery needs to be vented to the outside. it will produce harmful gases. right now it's a bit dangerous.

i know you're in progress, but you need to always take safety into consideration.

you did do a good job with your connections, there isn't any exposed copper, and they look tight. just work on your routing a bit so it looks "factory".

other than those issues, it looks like it'll be loud as hell! \:\)

Thanks for all the info, I'm in 5the process of building a small amp rack for the 4 channel and I'm also in the process of getting some colored flex wire (I ran out of red 0ga so had to use blue). Also the battery is an dry cell battery and was wandering about if it still puts gases outs??

I'll post more pics when my "progress" is done.

if it isn't lead acid, but a gel cell then you may be ok. AGM is still lead acid. either way, if it explodes, i would prefer it didn't throw acid on me while i was driving. it needs to be enclosed and it should be vented.
