my pioneer dehp8600mp came with a cord with 2 male ends that fit in the head phone jack of my mp3 player and the back of the radio. i thought that i could use it as an auxilary input, however i am either doing something incorrectly or that is not the intended function of this input and cord. can someone tell if what i want to do, directly hook up my mp3 player using the headphone output to my headunit so that i don't have to use crappy FM transmitters to listen to my mp3s????

thanks in advance.
