I just found out that one of my favorite magazines is being laid to rest. Source Interlink, the owner of Car Audio & Electronics is shutting the magazine down. CA&E is joining several of my other favorite magazines in our memories. I hope some smaller publisher recognizes that the we still like paper magazines and picks up the brand.

Anybody remember some of the other car audio mags from the past?
  • Car Audio & Electronics
  • AutoSound & Security
  • CarSound & Performance

My guess would be the parent company who distributes the magazine would roll over your current and future issues to another magazine they distribute.

Yep, that was a good one. Then there was also like MobileMedia or something like that came out when mobile video started making a book. I think it was the replacement for CarSound.

I believe so.

I was just saying the other day that after reading all of those magazines for so many years, I finally have a system that sounds well enough to maybe appear in one of those. Thay all fold up.
Just my luck anyway.
