what is required for bass race. what type of tuning whats average of subs and amps. not sur ejust got into the audio scene. I just wen to a iasca show and metered 145.7 in trunk on 2000 watts. but i think i wanna try bass race cause i dont think a btl is made for burping. just curious if any one has a similar setup. the car is a honda civic.

Bassrace is more like "bracket-racing" type thing. You qualify for a certain class, with your system, it would be either the 130db-139.9db class. You want to hit as close to 139.9 without going over. Or if you dont feel comfortable doing that class, there is a 120-129.9 class.
Bassrace is FUN as hell, and ANYONE can compete. I went to finals last year, and was within seconds of beating the defending 2 year champion.
