The Elite show was huge. You could see anything there from Sound Quality to SPL to show cars, and even drifting going on outside. I didn't get any pictures due to a dead camera. I think Ben got some good shots so maybe he will post those.

Here's a rundown of the Meca results from the weekend. I'm only listing the classes that Team Sounddomain competed in.

Amateur

1st Robert Petty 55.1
2nd Scott McCann 50.8
3rd Brandon Galbreath 50.6

Street +

1st Kirk Proffitt 83.3
2nd Aaron Thomas 79.6
3rd Jonathan Denton 78.8
4th Scott Patterson 76.3
5th Brian Mays 76.2

Extreme

1st Rick Washabaugh 79.6
2nd Ben Volmer 77.6

Extreme Install

1st Ben Volmer 83.0
2nd Rick Washabaugh 73.0

SQL Most Improved
Jonathan Denton

Top 30
Robert Petty 10th
Ben Volmer 17th

Andy didn't compete due to technical difficulties
Rick didn't compete due to equipment issues

Andy and Rick both put a lot of effort into getting the rest of us ready for the show and it is GREATLY appreciated.

I don't have the rest of the Top 30 results yet. I'm also missing the IASCA results. We'll get those up as soon as we have them.

i think he did once during regular season, but that person died of natural causes a few weeks later. also after that, all the judges were driving new cadillacs. \:confused\:

hmph. Well, at least he can be beat! \:\)

I think the trick is to become a millionaire and buy him out of competing via a few cadillacs.

the trick is to shoot him.

or shiv his mids with a screwdriver.

seriously, it's absolutely unreal how dialed in he has that car. the image is almost 3d. it's insane.

take it up with him. personally, i think you should protest and have him banned from competing before aaron has too many creatine biscuits before a show and kills someone.

I have to admit I hope to never have to go through a show like ESN ever again. that was seriously to long of a day. That said I had a great time hanging out with everyone from SoundDomain. And major thanks is owed to Andy and Aaron for retuning my car literally minutes before being judged. I still seriously belive this year Kirk is going to have the toughest challenge in MECA of any year so far.

I also think so congratulations are in order for Andy, for having the most successful "9 minutes" I've ever seen anyone have at a bar.

Not sure, but I'd bet if her boyfriend wasn't sitting at the bar the entire time, she would have been a lot more fun---and I would have better pictures of her \:o

you could tell she liked to party.

How you two managed to not get incarcerated amazes me. Although it wouldn't have surprised me if Andy had been openly trying to get arrested.

btw, did you ever get your bottle opener?

^no he didn't get the bottle opener. I had a better chance of both those chicks making me breakfast than he did of getting that bottle opener.

arrested----we were only there for 9 minutes. . .

Im saving that for the day you beat me which will probably be at world finals. Remember, they dont have metal detectors at finals.

You foiled my original plan by moving your CD changer so now I have to resort to swift and blinding violence.
