I have a 2000w amp and it says the recommended size is 2ga but I have a 5ga kit already. Do you think the 5ga is enough?

a 2000watt amp should use something bigger
my kicker 750.1 recommended 2awg but i used 4awg and it was fine.
just make sure use use a smaller fuse in line after the battery with 5awg and it should be fine but i would go get 2awg. or 1 awg for future upgrades

If that amp is really producing 2000Wrms, I would use nothing less than 0awg.
