I have some Question for you IamMurph soory if it is long

I have a Viper Responder LE 5701 installed in my 2007 Ford F-150
I had a problem with the alarm transmitters and the shop tried programing new ones. but the alarm would not go into the programing mode so they swapped out the alarm brain and antenna with a new one.
Here's my question my truck dome light and bed light come on after turning off the ignition and stay on for 30 seconds. But with the stock key less remote the lights would turn off when I locked the doors and on when unlocked it.
It was like this when they first installed the alarm but now with the new brain it does not do this.
Is there any thing I can program to fix this I don't want to drive down to the shop again if I don't have to its 20miles away.
It would not bother me so much but now when i get out and arm the alarm it shows that door is open because the dome light stays on.

Thanks

The feature is called dome light supervision. The lights stay on for 30 seconds unless you arm the alarm or put the key in the ignition. The stock domelight had a delay on it as well.

The door triggers are connected to the dome light instead of the door triggers. They didn't program the alarm to ignore the delay. You need to take it back to fix the problem.

Thanks for the reply.

Is this something i can fix or do they need to rewire something.
I saw them just swap the brain out with a new one the didn't touch any of the wires just unplugged the old unit and put in the new unit.

Thanks

It's a program option. You need a bitwriter to program it correctly.
