Flare port. Are they worth the money???

I've always done slot ports but the enclosure im building now is going to have a port coming out of the top of the box flush with the rear deck of my car and i think this may be the perfect time to try one of these flared ports. I just dont know if its worth the 40bux for a 6" one, or if im jus better using pvc. Hows everyones experience with them.

they do everything they claim. they're esp useful if space is at a premium.
plus they look sexy as hell.
it's all in whether or not you want to spend the money, but they're not a gimmick.

aeroports help solve a big issue with SPL....turbulance.
you won't be able to mount an aero flush, as-is...you will need to router the wood down 1/8th inch (if i recall correctly). be careful using screws to mount the aeroport. they tend to crack if not break. Use silicon.
