I just recently got an Iphone and I want a new headunit that I can push Iphone audio and video to. I was thinking about the Pioneer F series but Ive been hearing about alot of glitches and bugs in the F series. I think the only surefire way to get audio and video from the iphone to the stereo is with the Apple Composite AV Cable. Anyone got any suggestions.
Well I think I might go with one of the Pioneer Z series... Does anyone know if the Iphone is controlable from the HU with with apples composite cable in the Z series?
the D series will control it, so will the N, not sure about the Z. use the pioneer cable, not the apple cable, that only gives audio and video signals, not control

the pioneer z-series does not support ipod video. you can either go with a pioneer d3 or with the new $500 price range multi media decks. i haven't tried it with the F series stuff but i remember reading that it will work.
F-series supports video+audio from the ipod/iphone. I would recommend one of those, any glitches they found post production have been addressed. The only complaint I have of the F-series is the start up time, which for what they all do really isn't all that bad...just long.
