Well i dont got much money now so i picked out a few head unit, all play mp3s, only thing i wanna know is what one will last me awhile untill i can get a better one, which one is the most durable that doest look and feel cheaply made, which one has the best features for like if i have subwoofers too. I dont really care about extra stuff like ipod and all that although it would be a plus.

#1 Dual XDM6830 $89

#2 Eclipse CD2000 $100

#3 Panasonic CQ-C5405U $110

#4 JVC KD-G730 $115

#5 Pioneer DEH-P3000IB $102

#6 Clarion DXZ385USB $103

#7 Kenwood KDC-MP338 $95

I've had my Pioneer for 4 years and no problems yet, just throwing that out there.

I like that 9881, cause its a fold down face too. They have it brand new for $125 at ugotadeal.com.

I have an Eclipse CD4000 I'd be willing to sell (around $150, but negotiable). I got it about a month ago, then my head gasket blew. So it's just sitting there right now.

But if your not interested, I would still say Eclipse. I've had both. Pioneer gives a lot of features and everything, but I believe the Eclipse sounds more clear and crisp.

eclipse makes a good product.i agree that the sound quality is more clear and crisp than most pioneer head units. but i disagree as far as alpine is concerned...in my opinion alpine always has and always will have the clearest crispest sounding headunits.

i've owned all kinds of different headunits, sony, pioneer, clarion, eclipse, jvc, kenwood, and alpine...now the alpine wins hands down. some have come close, the pioneer supertuner i had was close, and a clarion unit i had was close too.but alpine has always won...

i had a 1.5 din alpine cda-d857 unit back in 2000 and that thing was the mac, best headunit i ever owned....

probably would either want to go with the eclipse, or pioneer if you got a higher end one. the ones that are 6000 and below just sound shitty, not very crisp and clean. kinda distorting a bit. maybe go with the 7600

Ok this took while, But finally i will be gettin a new headunit today!:D I looked around on ebay again and seen a few in interested in. There is just one question i wanna ask. Would you guys buy refurbed headunits or used? or does it matter, because 2 of these are used and 2 are refurbed, anyways heres the 4 im lookin at. Hope u can respond fast cause im anxious to put my order in :DD

USED-
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=200244501498&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=010

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=300250207818&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=020

REFURBISHED-
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=160272100505&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=006

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=280256246799&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=018

In the used one i was leaning towards the alpine, i know it says it has some minor problem with the face but overall excelent cond. And the refurbed i was thinkin the 4900IB.

Ok, i was gonna get the alpine but since it had the discoloration and all, i ended up not getting it. So i got the pioneer deh-p4700mp, got it couple days ago, Anyways its ok, but im not really into it that much. It doesnt have nearly as much features as my old 6500 did. So i think i might resale it and get either the 4900IB, I like the 4900's look and it has alot of features like the subwoofer control, but i dont like it cause the display is to plain only with text but it still would be better than the 4700. and i also seen a 7500 for like $110, sounds cool cause it says u can put ur own pics as the background display.
