OK, a little background before I ask my question.
My car was stolen (second time in a year). I decided to get an alarm, and like many of you I like learning how to do things myself, and save a couple bucks while I am at it. So I bought a Clifford G4 alarm on the internet, received it, and did a pretty good installation I believe.
My friend totaled his car about 1 week after, and he offered to give me his alarm, a G5 Intelliguard 750. I said sure I'll take it. I was happy to take it out of his car because he had a professional installer do it, and I wanted to see how they would run the wires and everything.
I got everything out, and today I went back to my car, 1994 Honda Accord, and started replacing the G4, with the newer G5. I got everything wired and what not, but now the car does not want to start up, it starts for about 2 seconds and then shuts off. Everything else has power, the radio works, the LED from the alarm works, interior lights, everything else. What could be the problem?
The LED is steady blue, so I am guessing that means it is in valet mode. I tried to use the valet switch but it seems to not be doing anything. He has not given me the remotes yet, but I still have the 2 from the G4, how do I get them to recognize the new alarm?

Now that I think about it, I have not hooked up the wire that goes to the tachometer, could this be my problem?

Yes you would need to connect the tach and program the alarm. Do you have the manual?

No I do not have the manual, I have to manual from he G4 but that is really no help.
I was able to find the manual to a G5, but its not the exact model. Is there any place online to just get the manual? Or is Clifford cracking down on that aswell?

I got the manual you sent me, but the car still does not want to start when connected through the brain. If i take out the 4 pin plug and jump the wires the car starts fine...
Also, the blue LED stays steady, even when I hit arm and disarm

Sounds like it's in valet.

Yes it was in valet, I got it out of that. Now it arms and disarms like it should, the sensors work, siren works, power locks work. Everything works except it will not stay running, it will start for about 2 seconds then die...
