i currently have this setup:

Rockford Fosgate 12" HX2 subwoofers. model number RFD2212. Ported box custom made. Here is some more info:1000 Watts RMS combined, 2000 Peak Combined.

Details:

* dual 4-ohm voice coils
* CONsealer gasket hides mounting screws and prevents air leaks around the frame
* frequency response 26-200 Hz
* power range 500 watts RMS (250 watts per voice coil)
* peak power 1,000 watts
• sensitivity 88 dB SPL

i also have http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-HIFONICS-BXI...QQcmdZViewItem

with knukonceptz 4 guage amp installation kit for wiring

any suggestions on 6x9 or upgrades for speakers, i want my audio to sound good!!!

Where are the 6x9s in a tahoe? I only ask because I ve never owned anything but four cylinder cars, where the 6x9 are in the very back. Is it different for SUVs?

yes sorry, these are the speakers that are already going through-out the whole car...I would like to upgrade them so my system sounds better.thx

here are the info on the car:

Rear: unable to determine speaker type
Front door: 6-3/4"
Back door: 5-1/4"
Rear side panel: unable to determine speaker type
