I'm gonna start competing in streetbeat, class 2, just gonna stay with my 2 12's... or i may switch to 1 15 and that will keep me in the same class.
i was thinking some DD Z series 12's or a single 15
I've got 2 12" eclipse Titaniums and a memphis Mojo 4kW right now...
anyone know much about the mods allowed in SB2? cause i've got dynamat in the headliners, and expando-foam in the fenders already...

i know i'm doin about 150 now... i'll get it metered the next time i'm home, i was doin 143.2 in a tiny sealed box with just a crossfire VR-1000d, i went ported and quadrupled the power, and dynamatted it, and added a kenetik 2400, if i aint at 150 db... i'll be flabbergasted.

you know, i had yet to put it into context... but i'm fully aware of steve's yukon... pics weren't really needed (though enjoyed)
i've seen the videos... and the install, it's insane. now i'm a little more discouraged.

well, i think the difference is that he can do sustained 160dB with music.
you're looking to do bursts of 160dB. I agree that it has and can be done with fewer subs and less power.
those videos are amazing. i've never seen anything like that. watching his interior dash and console... wow. even his Tahoe with 4 18's was impressive. T

Isn't SB=streat beat. Which is like bass race. Which means that you have to do 30 seconds of music?
Has anyone in this thread actually read the rules to SB in USACi?

I do Meca and hit 147 with (6) 12s and 4K watts. AND I CAN HIT 147 AT 35 HZ with the setup. It is sick.
150 with a pair of Tis and 4kw.... I doubt it.

i am not sure about the rules on SB2 in Usaci but is that the in the glove or kick panel ?? i would say it is possible in only those possisions but near to impossible to be done on the dash

if i remember right, it's outlaw style, you can have doors, windows, and sunroofs open. but i forget where they meter at... and i'm too lazy to look right now.

I have a question about the USACi competition. I'm planning on attending to one this weekend up in Englishtown, New Jersey.
Im going to the competition with 3000 watts and 2 12" speakers, with a 12-volt setup.
What StreetBeat class will I be placed in? Will I be put in place with everyone that has 3000watts with 12s, or I will be put into a category with any amount as watts as long as its the same size speakers?? Reply asap. Thanks
