haha, yours was less of a hint and more of a statement
im actually looking at the viper 5900, have yet to purchase it though. if you work for a shop i can purchase it through you, or go the ebay route. either way, here is my situation:
problems:
1. remote start works occasionally. sometimes it starts, other times it just turns over. oh, and my favorite, it tries to start my car when im crusing down the freeway.
2. doors will lock and unlock by themselves as i travel down the road. happens at random intervals.
purchased car (1996 240sx) a year ago. was an automatic. had remote start, basic alarm, and driver side window control. i did an auto/manual swap on the car, bypassed the inhibitor switch so i can start it without clutch engaged. well, during my swap i encountered a ton of wiring, and in the process of zip-tieing everything i jiggled some wires loose (i presume), leading to the above problems. i need someone who can make sense of the old [censored], remove it, install a new alarm, and clean it up. i understand this will cost me, but i need it done right. if you can help Jason, or anyone for that matter, let me know

he's the national training manager for AutoPage. In OC you can go to
Henderson's Car Stereo, it's on Harbor at Victoria in Costa Mesa
Speakerworks, not sure exactly where, but they have a great reputation.
Newport Autosound, 19th Street in Newport
Beach Autosound, on Beach in Huntington Beach

i was merely stating that i can figure out the system in your car, and it doesnt matter what alarm you use, i can handle it. Just putting it out there if you wanted me to do it, i could be available.
