I would return them and buy a set of regular ring terminals. The JL pro terminals are an alloy that requires a special crimper from JL audio. If you have a local JL dealer, one of their installers might let you use it for free.

http://www.dellcity.net has excellent crimping products. I am not familiar with the terminal you are seeking to crimp, but this is what I use for 4 gauge terminals:

for regular gold crimp terminals 8g-0g i put on vise anvil and hit til wire is snug. then clamp wire in vise with about 2" of wire hanging out with terminal on and torch the tip of the terminal wait for the wire to get hot then solder it on. this is the BEST connection...
I agree solder that mother on when you get the terminal to stay put oh and dont clamp the terminal on too tight or you can sever wires and lose sound quality.
I slide a heat shrink over the wire then cut back the wire about 3/4 " put wire in the ring terminal then lay on on anvil part of a vise with about 1/4" hanging out then take a pilot punch to make a small indent then line up a center punch with the pilot indent and frail the hell out of it about three times then I solder the 1/4 " using a 150/230 watt soldering iron then slide the heat shrink over the terminal and use a butane torch held about a 8"s away to shrink it over the terminal
