Tutorial: Removing Rear Door Panels on a 2000 Chevrolet Blazer
I'll give step-by-step instructions on how to remove the rear door panels to upgrade rear speakers. The factory speakers are 6.5" and I'll be installing a 6.5" 2-way Infinity Referance set.
1. First remove plastic cover inside door handle with a flat head screw driver to access 2 7 mm bolts, remove bolts

2. Remove phillips head screw from behind door handle and remove plastic cover.
3. Remove plastic molding on the right side of window. There are two phillips head srews here.

4. Remove plastic molding on left side of window, use a flat head srew driver to remove plastic push pens from door. Be careful when doing this so that you don't break the pins.

5. Remove panel, to remove panel you are going to use a flat head srew driver like you used in step for to remove the plastic push pins. There are a few around the door panel, so pop them from the door.
Make sure to lift the door panel up over the window lip.
6. Lift the door panel up and turn it clockwise to acces the window control. Push the clips on the control button in and push the control button up through the door panel.
7. Use a flat head to remove the clip from the window control button.
8. Use a T10 Hew srew to remove the speakers, there are 4 screw total.

9. Release clip that is used for the speaker wire, the wire is soldered to the speaker so cut the wires. The colors on the wire are Red (+) and Red and Black stripe (-)
10. Install new speaker and make sure to clip back the clip for the speaker wire. Don't want to put the panel back on and realize that you forgot to do this.

Hope that this helps out and I'll be doing the front doors and tweets on the dash as soon as the component set comes in. Thanks, Jason
