Pioneer SIR-PNR1 vs SIR-PNR2?

I need to replace my old Pioneer deck and have a SIR-PNR1. Does anyone know if the SIR-PRN1 will work with their new decks? I would really like to keep it and I'm having a hard time getting a straight answer from car audio places.
