I have a Pioneer DEH-P7500MP. It's XM ready but my dad got the family a subscription to Sirius for Christmas. My question is how can I make this work? I don't want to use the RF mod cuz it sounds crappy. Is there a way to use the IP Bus input or something like that?

so it doesn't matter if a head unit is xm or sirius ready they all use the same plugs? Just advertising on the decks?

correct they all use the p-bus cable. You do have to use some function menus to change options but it's not too bad. I have the Pioneer Sirius tuner hooked up to my XM ready AvicN1 and it works fine, I like it better than the XM tuner once I got used to it.

same here, loved it way better than XM and it worked just fine on my AVIC-N1. Just get a SIR-PNR1 and your good to go
