Let me give you my back story.
I had XM for the first 3 years. The first two were great and the third started to make me mad. Channles moved and formats changed.
Then I got Sirius because I liked the content.
After three years of Sirius I go on vacation. The plane we flew on had XM on board. I am thinking, great I have goo tunes. Big mistake.... They blocked the good channels due to profanity. I start to listen to Lucy and Ethal. I used to love Ethal. They played one good song and then crap. I switch channels several times until I find a good song. Then they play crap again.
I spent more time flipping for good music then I did listening. WTF is wrong with XM? Do monkeys program the channels? They played more B sides and unknown hits than they played hits. I did not want to hear a Gorillas song I have never heard of.
XM you suck!
Perry must be laughing his ass off. I was a diehard XM fan before thay jumped the shark.

Glad to see you have come to the light side.
Sirius has always been the trend setter. They were always commercial free, they got almost all the sports, they got Stern.
Now XM is sticking commercials on a few music channels (like they used to have), their content sucks, they have no vision whatsoever.
People always say Sirius spends money while XM is thrifty. It used to be good for XM's stock price (not even that anymore) but it makes for an inferior service. You get what you pay for.
It XM had not launched first they would be a distant second. As it is their head start is shrinking daily.

Sirius FTW! I'm a die hard rock fan and I'm sorry, but you can't beat Octane 20! Only thing I wish Sirius would snag from XM would be MLB. But hey, maybe in a few years when XM goes out of business we'll be good.

I cruised best buy, circuit city and sound advice (tweeters) yesterday the displays for Sirus where a lot more visible, bigger, more products and accessories than XM.
Makes you wonder.
